This wheel, late of the Surly O heck, has finally had it in the freehub. It's not too free when it should be coasting, like it's filled with gravel in addition to pawls and springs, which it likely is. Roadside malfunction and colorful language seem imminent. Ask me how I know.
Before I retired it to the Questionable Wheels hanger (the freehub body can likely be replaced if not serviced), I labeled it appropriately as you can see: No Free-wheeling Goodness to be found. I swapped the 16/18T double BMX cog setup seen here to some other (non-NFG, this reporter hopes) wheel from the same Questionable Wheels hanger and rode it 40 flat miles today. Surprisingly, it stayed together for the trip.
